  Had the chicken and broccoli plus fried rice for$9 plus tax
  Great deal for downtown Pioneer Square
  Don't judge the food with the store front it is camouflage to blend in with the neighborhood if you are in the area stop by for lunch and I suggest catering your next luncheon

  I can't remember the last time I paid so much for so little. Worst Chinese food I've had in a couple decades.
  The Honey Walnut Prawns is a $17.25 entree. There's barely enough here to eat. And this does NOT include rice. That's extra. What a waste of money.
  Meanwhile, the chow mein is a gigantic portion of noodles with five small pieces of meat and a little carrot for color. Flavor was clearly not a consideration.

  The worst food I have in ages.
  The wontons were painfully dry and contained next to no filling.
  The sweet and sour chicken was a greasy, sloppy disaster. The chicken pieces were tiny and in the middle of super thick breading.  Despite having soaked up the thick sugary sauce, I could still taste the oil. I tried to separate the chunks out of the sauce (see photo) but it was too late. The breading had the consistency of a wet sponge.  If you decide to order this, get sauce on the side. In fairness,  I didn't ask for it to be separated.  I ordered delivery so I figured that sauce would be in a sealed container and not on the chicken.
  Wonton soup was garlicky clear broth and huge pieces of bok choy.  Same wontons in the soup as were mentioned above as the appetizer. Rather dense dough chunks void of filling and flavor.  
  To their credit, the food was hot and exactly as I ordered. It was also ready incredibly fast.  Order to door was about fifteen minutes.
  Would not eat here again.

  We ordered from this place tonight and it was terrible. The broccoli beef was inedible, the mu shu pork barely resembled its name sake and the pot stickers were awful.
  
  I lament how hard it is to find decent Chinese delivery to Capitol Hill but this was not the answer I was looking for.

  Ordered takout for delivery and it was really good!  Would definitely order from Happy Garden again.  
  
  Got the honey walnut shrimp and fried rice.  The sauce was super good and not too sweet.  The rice was fab. Portions were generous, and I was stuffed.
  
  I ordered through Yelp, and my order was brought to my office in just 15 min.  The food was still hot.
